How do I know my affiliate codes were added correctly?

Amazon Associates

Check if your Amazon Associate’s tracking id is entered correctly by going to your website and clicking on any of your Amazon ads.  From the Amazon page, you should see your associate’s id embedded within the url in your browser’s address bar.

Clickbank

You can check to make sure your Clickbank affiliate id is embedded by going to your website and clicking on your Clickbank image ad.  Your Clickbank id should appear in the address bar on the product page. Sometimes the vendor cloaks your Clickbank id (this is a good thing) and it won’t show up in the address bar. If this is the case you can check it by going all the way to the Clickbank order page (like you were purchasing the product) and scrolling down to the very bottom of the form. There will be a field at the very bottom that says [ affiliate = youraffiliatecode ], where “youraffiliatecode” should be your own affiliate code!

CBProAds.com

To check to make sure your Clickbank Pro id is embedded properly, just click on one of the text links in your CBProads.com ad unit.  Your Clickbank id or Clickbank Pro account number will be in the address bar.  If it happens to be cloaked or forwards too fast for you to see, then you can check it by going all the way to the Clickbank order page (like you were purchasing the product) and scrolling down to the very bottom of the form. There will be a  field at the very bottom that says [ affiliate = youraffiliatecode ], where “youraffiliatecode” should be your own affiliate code. There may also be other data such as your account number embedded here.  Keep in mind that unless your CBProAds.com account has been upgraded to their Pro Plan, your affiliate id will only appear 50% of the time, so you may have to click on a few different ads for your link to show up.

Google Adsense

It’s against the Google Adsense Terms of Service to click on your own ads, even for testing purposes, so please don’t do this : )  The best way to make sure your Google Adsense is inserted correctly is to see if your ads are being displayed.  Our sites don’t come built with Google Adsense, so if there’s an ad showing up, then it’s most likely your code!  Another way to make sure the ads are connected to your account is to make sure there are ad impressions being reported from your Google Adsense dashboard.

Please note that if you have a brand new adsense account, your ads will show up blank until your account passes final approval, then your ads will automatically start appearing.

Infolinks

You can tell if your Infolinks code has been added correctly by going to your website and seeing if any of the links for the “in content” ads are displaying (it would be obvious!).  They appear as green hyperlinks distributed throughout any text content.

Please note, your Infolinks account must be fully approved for your links to start showing up.
